1. Who we are
WeDoIt is the operator of wedoit.work and the WeDoIt iOS and Android apps. We are launching in Metro Manila, Philippines.
Questions, content concerns, and legal notices: hello@wedoit.work. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
2. What WeDoIt is — and is not
WeDoIt is an independent digital directory and messaging host. It helps clients find skilled tradespeople nearby, read profiles and reviews, post jobs, and message each other. The work itself, the price, the schedule, and payment are agreed between the people involved, off the platform.
WeDoIt is not an employer, contractor, agency, or labour broker.
- We do not employ professionals. There is no employer–employee, principal–agent, or joint-venture relationship between WeDoIt and anyone who lists or finds work here.
- We do not assign jobs, dictate how work is done, set working hours, or require anyone to accept a job.
- We impose no exclusivity. Professionals and clients may use any other app, classifieds board, or referral source at the same time.
- We do not hold escrow, take commissions, or process payments. Cash, bank transfer, and every other form of payment happen between you and the other person.
- We do not insure, guarantee, or endorse any professional, client, job, or outcome. A verification badge means an operator looked at identity or trade documents — not that the person is skilled, licensed for every task, insured, or a good fit for your job.
- Rate bands shown in the app are non-binding guidance for a trade in a market. They are not a price WeDoIt sets, not a wage, and not a recommendation you must follow.
- There are no leaderboards, “top pro” ranks, or performance scores that WeDoIt uses to assign work.
If you hire someone you found on WeDoIt, that contract is yours. WeDoIt is not a party to it.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. We collect a self-attested date of birth at sign-up and do not complete account creation under that age. You must be able to form a binding contract under Philippine law. One person, one account — do not create sock-puppet accounts to inflate reviews or evade a block or ban.
4. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in (Google or email one-time code) under your control. Tell us at hello@wedoit.work if you think someone else is using it.
You may switch between client and professional modes on the same account. Publishing a professional profile, posting a job, sending a message, or leaving a review is something you choose to do — we do not require a professional to stay available or a client to hire anyone.
5. Listings, jobs, and offers
Profiles, job posts, photos, and offers must be truthful and yours to publish. Do not impersonate another person or business. Do not post work that is illegal. Job contact is gated: a professional can send one structured offer; a thread opens when the client replies. We may hide, edit for safety, or remove a listing that breaks these terms or our safety rules.
6. Messages
Chat is for arranging work between the people in the thread. Do not use it to harass, scam, share others’ private data, or send illegal or sexual content involving minors. Photos and voice memos you send are stored so the other participant can read them. We may keep a server-side copy for safety and continuity.
7. Reviews and proof
Reviews are opinions of the reviewer, not WeDoIt’s. Proof photos should be of the work, taken in-app. Do not post fake reviews, reviews of work that did not happen, or reviews written from an account you control on both sides. Professionals may reply in public to a review about them. We may remove a review that is unlawful, off-topic, or abusive; we do not remove a review merely because someone dislikes the rating.
8. Meeting in person and paying
You meet and pay at your own risk. Vet the other person in chat, read reviews, and be cautious with large cash deposits before work is done. WeDoIt cannot recover money you send, because we never hold it. If something goes wrong between you and the other person, that dispute is between you — we can moderate the account and the listing, not the cash.
9. Zero tolerance for objectionable content
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. That includes, without limitation:
- Sexual content involving minors, or any exploitation of children
- Credible threats, stalking, or incitement of violence
- Hate speech targeting a protected group
- Scams, impersonation, or phishing
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Spam, malware, or attempts to break into accounts or the service
We will remove that content, may ban the account, and will report to law enforcement where we are required or it is necessary to prevent serious harm. Ban evasion (new accounts after a ban) is itself a violation.
10. Reports, blocks, and moderation
Every user-generated surface in the app has a way to report content and to block a person. Blocking stops contact from that account. Reports go to operators who can hide content, suspend, or ban. Automated filters may hold public text that matches our safety screener until a person reviews it. We do not promise to take any particular action on a given report, except that we will review reports of the categories in section 9.
To reach us about content concerns without using the in-app report control, email hello@wedoit.work.
11. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant WeDoIt a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and deliver that content as needed to run the directory, job board, chat, and reviews — including generating the public and private views the product already shows. You represent that you have the rights to grant that licence. If you delete an account, we remove or anonymise what we can; messages in a shared thread may stay in anonymised form so the other person keeps their history.
12. Our software and brand
The apps, website, name, and logo are WeDoIt’s. You may not copy, scrape at scale, reverse engineer, or use the brand to imply we employ, insure, or vouch for you. Rate guidance, search ranking, and market configuration are operator tools, not a public API you may republish as your own directory.
13. Availability
We aim to keep the service up. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features, lock or unlock a city, attach or detach a trade, or stop offering the service. Ads may appear in feeds later; they are not currently personalised in the shipped app.
14. Disclaimers
The service is provided as a directory and messaging host, “as is.” To the fullest extent Philippine law allows, WeDoIt is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any work arranged through the app; for non-payment or deposits lost off-platform; for another user’s content or conduct; or for injuries or property damage that occur when you meet. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence where that limit is not permitted.
15. Ending the account
You can stop using WeDoIt at any time. To delete the account, email hello@wedoit.work from the address on the account — there is not yet a self-serve deletion form on this website. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, including for the conduct in section 9. We may keep a narrow record of a ban so it cannot be evaded.
16. Changes
If we change these terms in a material way we will update the date and version on this page. The apps also carry a terms version from our servers so we can tell a shipped build that a newer text exists. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Courts in Metro Manila have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you may have.
